About SMR

Alex Isherwood is the Director of Service MOT Repairs Ltd. He founded the garage in December 2012. A qualified motor vehicle technician, Alex has over 18 years of experience in the motor trade.

After running regional branches for large, national and independent garages, Alex decided to strike out on his own and so Service MOT Repairs Ltd was born.

Conveniently located on Round Spinney Industrial Estate, Service MOT Repairs Ltd does exactly what it says on the tin. Vehicle services, MOTs and repairs. We work on all makes and models. We have a state of the art automated MOT test lane and we carry a large stock of tyres, batteries and brake discs and pads.

However, the biggest benefit to our clients is our transparency. For every part we replace we will ask permission before work commences and we will talk you through afterwards, showing you the old parts, explaining the faults.
